PETER E. SABESAN
Founding Principal

With a client roster that includes Chase Manhattan Bank, New York Mercantile Exchange (NYMEX), Allianz Insurance Company and American Express, Peter E. Sabesan has represented many of the country's leading corporations in their search for commercial space. Within his two decade-plus career, he has been responsible for the leasing of several million square feet of office space.

RICHARD I. SELIG
Founding Principal

A 25-year veteran broker, Richard I. Selig, principal, The Hunter Realty Organization, LLC, has been responsible for leasing millions of square feet to such Fortune 500 companies as PaineWebber, Dewey Ballantine, HSBC and First Boston Credit Suisse. He began his career as a leasing agent for the Helmsley Organization.

Mr. Sabesan and Mr. Selig began working together in 1982 and have represented many of New York's preeminent property owners, including Helmsley-Spear, Metropolitan Life Insurance and Morgan Stanley. In 1997, they founded The Hunter Realty Organization, LLC and continue to represent such leading landlords as S.L. Green, Morgan Stanley and Steinberg & Pokoik, Inc. as exclusive leasing agents.

The brokers began their careers on opposite sides of the table: Mr. Sabesan working on behalf of the tenants and Mr. Selig as a landlord representative. Over the years, their distinct skills have blended in various ways, balancing each other's strengths in terms of experience and style. It is this fortuitous combination of expertise that Mr. Sabesan and Mr. Selig bring to negotiations and gives them the insight to satisfy the different parties involved in a transaction.
